Research discipline translated into production thinking.

Alistair’s work sits between quantitative research and engineering. He transforms strategy ideas that appear convincing in backtests into explicit decision systems—systems with defined participation rules, capital behavior, execution assumptions, and failure boundaries.

His focus is the structural reality of systematic trading: volatility regime changes, liquidity and slippage, concentrated risk, false diversification, and the gap between simulated and live execution. The objective is not to make a model look better. It is to determine whether the system deserves to exist under real constraints.

Through his EU-based quantitative trading company, he develops system architecture across futures, ETFs, and foreign-exchange markets, supported by Python-based research, portfolio analytics, validation workflows, and forensic diagnostics.

Core practice / 02

Where judgment meets evidence.

01

Decision Architecture

Defining what a system may do, when it may participate, and where discretion must end.

02

Risk & Capital Design

Engineering how exposure expands, contracts, concentrates, or disengages as conditions change.

03

Execution Realism

Testing strategy behavior against liquidity, latency, slippage, and fill uncertainty.

04

System Survivability

Identifying structural failure points before they become live-market losses.

An unusually early start in regulated capital markets.

Alistair completed the Capital Markets Board of Türkiye’s advanced-level examinations while still in the first year of university studies. The achievement led to early internship opportunities across banking, securities, corporate finance, and portfolio management—providing practical exposure to the institutions, controls, and responsibilities surrounding capital.

Serious systems deserve
serious architecture.

Alistair works selectively with traders, funds, and fintech builders who value correctness, robustness, and transparent decision logic over short-term backtest optics.
